Ok, so I've had  a really amazing day today. Louisa, Char, and me caught the 10.20 train to London complete with our tube maps. We got the tube to Oxford Street and went into Topshop but it was so busy, we couldn't really enjoy the experience so we had a wander up the street, stopping off at Hamley's. We all agreed that we felt like we were seven again but there was this really weird guy working there who kept calling me flower girl because I was wearing a flower head band. haha, I was freaked out but my friends thought it was hilarious. Then, this other guy, selling Big Issue starting telling me random facts about John Lennon because I was wearing a top with his face on. Rather bizarre. I brought a dusky pink skirt, some sunglasses, and a belt from Primark. We then caught the tube to Notting Hill (without the need of our trusty tube maps I am pleased to add) and had a mooch around the book and vintage clothing shops. I brought a notepad from the stationary shop but I literally had to stop myself from buying the entire shop because it was so lovely. We then had a drink in this little cafe which was really cool because it had lots of board games in it so we played Connect4 and Jenga.

My trip to London today has reaffirmed my love and passion for the city that one day I hope to call my home.
